Refrigerator and Freezer not cooling after manually defrosting

A few days ago I noticed my freezer was not making any ice. Upon further investigation, everything in the freezer was not frozen. The temperature was around 20 degrees. In the back of the freezer, I noticed a slight-moderate frost build up in the right upper corner where an evaporator coil is visible. Mode of action thus far- cleaned condensor coils and fan, compressor and condensor fan are both operating, relay connection to compressor is good and evaporator fan is operating. I also manually defrosted the unit and ran hot water through the evaporator drain, which appeared to be draining into the evaporator pan. I ran the unit overnight at recommended settings. This morning the freezer is at 50 degrees. I was thinking this was going to be a defrost issue, but since it is not cooling something more like a compressor or coolant issue?
