Whirlpool Model LSQ8000JQ1 ...water all over floor, clothes still wet after spin cycle

Hi all,
Was here quite a while ago and got some great help that enabled me to fix my last problem.

Here's the story:

Washer has been making a loud machine gun like sound for about a week at end of spin cycle, but seems to work fine.

Wife puts on load of washing and leaves for work

I return an hour later to find water all over the floor, the clothes in the washer still wet but tub empty of water,and washer showing on dial that cycle is complete.

Where to start trouble shooting?

All hose connections check out fine.
