gotta love these icemakers... i've replaced mine twice, and now, have replaced the water inlet valve assembly because the water was weeping and freezing in the tube to the icemaker. It's all back together, and i'm waiting for the thermostat to get cold enough to start making ice, but i'm second guessing the wiring.
I've got the jacks right in terms of which is for the water dispoenser and which is for the ice maker (i believe, in that the water dispenser works fine), but since the female jack and the male posts of the assembly are not different in size or shape, i worry that I've got the wiring wrong.
for either valve, does it matter if the wiring jack is upside down or rightside up? it fits on the male poles of the assembly either way, and the water dispenser worked no matter which way i had the wiring jack connected, but i'm doubting myself...
