Maytag oven not getting to temp

My Maytag oven seems to lite but takes hours to get to temp setpoint, if at all.

I have observed it during the initial lite off and it looks like the oven lites with an initial strong gas flow then within seconds the gas flow cuts back to just a minimum flame.
