Whirlpool GBD277PDS6 control board/panel E1 F2 fault

I have a Whirlpool GBD277PDS6 convection oven that is inop. The initial fault code called for replacing the control panel, which I did with a new panel. That didn't fix it, and the new fault code called for a new control board, which I found through Laptops for Less (it's a rebuilt board). After I installed it, everything was lit up the way I expected, so I tried turning the oven on. It went into pre-heat for about 30 seconds, and was in fact heating up, when it gave me the fault code of E1 F2, which indicates a bad control panel, which is brand new. I reset the power, cleared the fault, same result...30 seconds of preheat followed by the E1 F2 code. All of the buttons on the panel appear to be working except "lower oven", "convect", and "lower oven off". By work, I mean they beep when I touch them except those three. Any ideas on what to do next? Could I have gotten a bad control panel? Very frustrating, as I now have about $500 into this with repair parts and it's still not working. Thanks.

Fred
