I have a GE Eterna side by side fridge.
It was melting ice cubes in the ice box. During a freeze cycle I would notice an unusual amount of fog in the freezer. So I turned the ice maker off. I did not resolve the underlying issue.
It is also freezing items in the lower portion of the refrigerator... the fruits & vegetables draw, the sealed pan and the lower shelves in the fridge door.
I unplugged the unit for 15 minutes, and after plugging it back in, the evaporator fan did blow cold air out of the top vent of the freezer up towards the ice box.
Any help would be appreciated.
