When you push the power button the dryer will not turn on. Over the past few weeks, the problem has gotten worse and worse with the power button working occasionally, however, it has now stopped completely and the dirty laundry is piling up. In the past, the chime will sound when you push the power button, but there would be no display on the screen and it will not allow you to start a cycle.
I tried flipping the breaker, unplugging and replugging it in, and reconnected all wires on the back of the control boards. Nothing seems to work. Does this mean the entire board is fried? What are my options? Is it cheaper to just get a new dryer? This one is only 2.5 years old!
