Advice needed: Compressor transplant in 40's era GE fridge

Long story short, the relay system in my 40's fridge had been removed for some reason and as a result the compressor has a burnt out starter coil. So its not really possible to use. I am trying to gather info about what the situation is with getting a replacement compressor.

From what I read off the label of the one in it now, its a 1/8 hp unit with a pressure rating of 150 high and 292 low. It has a 1.75 refrigerant capacity.

So would I simply replace this with a 1/8 unit? I assume there is a capacity rating as well. Secondly, would the original cooling loop on the back work for this?

Anyway, just putting out some feelers.
