Ran a load of dishes this morning, the tub filled, and then a loud clunk sound, and silence. Drained the tub, looked inside and nothing smelled off/burning and everything looked ok (spinner arms spun freely).
However, now I go to start, the tub fills fine, but when the motor usually engages, I get a very high pitched (almost inaudible) hum, but no action.
Is it worth it to take it apart to see if there's something caught in the motor or chopper? Or am I pretty much hooped?
Thank you!
