GE washer not draining

My washer is not draining or spinning properly, as the clothes are still wet. I have to run another drain and spin cycle. Sometimes this works, sometimes not. Additionally, the washer stops on it's own, and sometimes shuts completely down.

I have checked the trap, and it is clear.
