I have a Kenmore Gas Range. IT was starting to take up to an hour to heat to 350 degrees. It take nearly 2 minutes for it to light. So I thought I had an ignitor problem. When I removed the bottom of the oven to access the ignitor, I noticed 1) there was no flame spreader over the burner (Not sure if this is normal), 2) The burner looks to have rusted/blownout right at the point of the ignitor, 3) the burner once lit sputters on and off with only very small blue flame. FYI the upper broiler burner works fine.
My questions are
1) Should there be a flame spreader over the top of the bake burner (bottom oven burner), or should it be under the bake burner
2) IS the burner itself easy to replace
3) Should I replace the ignitor as well as the burner
Thanks for any help you have to offer.
