I have a 2 year old Kenmore fridge, and the freezer is cold, but not freezing. The fridge itself seems to be cold enough, with no noticeable change, small if there is any.
So 2 months ago we started up the fridge after it sitting unplugged for 4 months and it was blowing no cold air. The repairman quickly diagnosed it as having a freon leak, and that it was all leaked out. He thought the leak was so small that if the fridge is running it shouldn't be a problem, when refilled with freon. So he added a valve to add Freon and it worked fine until now. So does it seem likely that this new problem is that it once again is low and losing Freon? Or could it be something unrelated? The condenser coils are not warm except for the one coming up from the bottom of the fridge.
If it is a leak again, what now?
