New Dryer Motor

I have a Maytag Dryer that isn't working. I get nothing when I press the start timer button (momentary switch). I decided to try a new dryer motor W10410999 and still nothing. Before I press the start button which seems to do nothing, I measured 120vac to all the wires going to the motor, except the white wire being neutral (gnd). What should cause the motor to spin and start. I'm not to sure what to look for next, I do have the electrical schematics.
