Big icicle forming below ice maker.

Hello,

I've got a Kenmore Coldspot fridge with automatic ice maker that's acting up. It keeps forming a large icicle below the maker as if liquid water is dripping/ flowing out from the icemaker and freezing into a large icicle. It seems to be making ice normally otherwise. Can anyone tell me why it's doing this and how I can fix it?
