Hello,
This fridge we got from a friend that got a new one. No complains at all.
When it first started, it would cycle normally, but since yesterday it has been working non stop for about 20 hours now (except 5 min I drop the circuit to fix a leaky valve). It is very annoying for sleeping since it is close by.
I did use a work (very bright bright and hot) light in the same room for about 12 hours since I am doing some kitchen reno.
I also fixed a small leak in the water input valve (the green and red valve close to the front grill). For this I shot the breaker down (this fridge is in a designated breaker) and lifted the front a little for access.
The fridge is not yet in its designated spot so still standing in its rollers until we finish the work... Could it be too close to the wall? even been a top compressor unit? would this matter?
I have the technical sheet to run the service test if needed, I thought I would give it a few days maybe to acclimate to its new environment?
I also tried setting the temp in freezer and RC as high (warm) as possible (freezer=-14 degrees and RC=8 degrees {Celciums}) it wont go warmer... I wonder if that's a fair temperature range?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We were so happy with this new to us unit, but now is sort concerning and wondering if we should get rid at all of our old one.
Thanks.:D
