I just installed my new gas dryer (GFDS140GDWW). My first time using it, I noticed a higher pitch periodic humming noise, different from the normal drum spinning noise which is also present.
I've tried different settings (e.g. no heat, only air) and moving the vent hose around, as well as shifting the dyer itself around, but there has been no change in the noise. The noise can be heard from the other room, as well as outside as it is coming out through the vent.
I took a video and you can easily hear the noise. The dryer is on the air only (no heat) cycle in the video.

You can hear the normal dryer sound, as well as the higher pitch humming...it almost sounds like a muffled siren. I'm wondering if this is a normal noise...it is a bit annoying, but I don't want to go through exchanging it if it is a common noise.
Any thoughts?
