Flush with confidence after getting the necessary help from Rick and VikTech to solve my Viking oven igniter problem I feel empowered to tackle the other remaining problem with the Viking range that was in the house I recently bought: a broken "Oven Lights" switch.

The switch simply doesn't work. The toggle is loose and encounters no resistance when you move it up ("on") and just falls back in to the off position.
I ordered a new switch and assumed I would have to remove the four torx screws holding the front control panel on and when I got it off, I could see how the switch was wired and connected. However, when the part arrived it looks almost like it just plugs right in. Here is a back view of the replacement switch:

To me, it seems like the existing switch will pop out if I pry it out of the control panel. I tried that briefly and encountered some resistance so I stopped for fear of damaging something. Does anyone know if it really is a matter of prying off the broken switch and plugging in the new switch?
Thanks in advance!
