Kitchen Aid Refridgerator Not cooling on Either Side

So this morning I see a pool of water on the kitchen floor and it looks to be coming from the Ice Dispenser. So I open the freezer and it is luke warm as is the fridge side. The lights are on and all I hear running is the fan that is right behind the compressor. I can usually hear the cooling system start once the freezer has been open but this morning nothing. Also on the fridge side the electronic cooling setting control pushbuttons had no lights on which are normally green.

So I read this thread:
http://www.applianceblog.com/mainfor...d-working.html

And this one also:
http://www.applianceblog.com/mainfor...art-relay.html

So after reading these two threads it sounded as if the compressor start relay might be the culprit. So I found it listed here: KitchenAid Refrigerator Model KSRU25CRSS00 Parts from RepairClinic.com.

I then unplugged the refridegerator and took the back access panel off. Much to my amazement the start relay listed in the above link is not visible but might actually be part of a combination that is called the "Start device". This is what mine is:Start Device 2319792 Order now for same day shipping. 365 day return policy. RepairClinic.com.

I unplugged it (red and white wire) and then removed it from the side of the compressor just to have a looky, looky. I then installed it back on the compressore and put the access panel back on. Doesn't appear to grant access to the start relay unless you can disassemble the Start Device.

Now much to my amazement again when I plugged the fridgerator back in the compressor immediately started back up and as of this moment both sides are once again cooling.

My question is this, while it may be working and cooling now that may not be the case in the very near future. But how do I diagnose a problem that isn't there right now ? Could it still be the start relay that might have just been "stuck" and cycling the power woke it back up ? Is the Start Relay itself replaceable or do I just replace the Start Device. I didnt see access to the start relay unless I try and take the Start Device apart. Could it be something else I am missing.

Hate to be chasing Gremlins if I don't have to.

Any and all help would be geatly appreciated.
