Bosch dishwasher SHU5305UC/14 won't start/run without pressure on the door

Dishwasher won't start (no lights or sound) unless pressure is applied and held pushing closed. Does latch. Getting power. No water visible underneath. No burning smell.
Took apart front panel. Nothing obvious. What do you suggest? Door switch?
