MHW2000 Washer Timer Issue

This might be just a 'user' error but I'm not sure.
Just bought this stackable used, and thankfully it has a 90 day warranty...
On the Regular wash cycle the timer 'sticks'/'stalls' at the '1' '2' & '3' positions. Have to give it a nudge to get it to continue,
if not it just keeps chugging along. My better half says she also tried the PP cycle and it behaves the same.
With nudging it does complete the cycle. A tad tedious but at least it's washing the clothes. :D
Unfortunately the warranty is not on-site so I have to haul the unit back to the shop and I want to find out everything that
might be wrong with it.

Another question: is there a way to determine the age of this puppy?
