Kind of a strange one here. My wife was using the range, heard a pop, and the circuit break blew. Reset the breaker, everything is fine except the left front burner will not turn on normally. I get the element on light, but no heat. However, if you push the simmer select button, it will get warm, eventually hot to the touch, but not usable for cooking. This would leave me to believe the burner element (PN# 316465001 ) is still good as it is producing heat, right? My understanding is this is not a dual element burner.
Right now, I'm between the burner, the infinite switch, the relay board, or possibly some wiring. I'm unsure how they are interacting given these symptoms. Any ideas? Trying to avoid buying $400 in parts if it's just one of the cheaper parts. Thanks!
