Hello,
I have a side-by-side Amana refigerator which freezes fine, but has uneven cooling on the fridge side. I've had it for a little over a year now and withing the last couple months or so have been having this problem. The fresh food control had been set about 3 until this problem arose. Now it is almost bottomed out (a little above 1) and I still have areas in the fridge which will freeze lettuce. Average temp. is ~34* and the freezer is at ~5*. Before this got worse, I would have milk and juice in the door on the shelf with the slide down cover and would get the start of some freezing of the container closest to the cold air feed from the freezer. I have that almost completely shut off now.
I've been searching on this forum for awhile before posting here and what seems the most likely cause is the cold temperature sensor.(?) What do you folks suggest.
Thanks much!
