Washer stops while draining

Hi there,

Hopefully you can help us with an issue we are having with a relatively new machine. My wife is currently living in Mexico, and bought an Easy top loading washing machine (LAE1-3300-PBB Series 1203S42180 Gen 0). It was working as expected, but now the same cycle that was previously working is acting up.

FYI - The machine locks itself while spinning/draining. We have to turn the cycle off and wait a minute for the door to unlock before we can open the door (eg. to check the water level). I assume that is a normal safety feature, but that part of the cycle seems to be working properly.

After the initial wash cycle, the machine starts to drain the water, however the washing machine doesn't finish draining. When it gets down to about 20cm of water left, it pauses.

When we press resume, it finishes draining, then pauses again.

When we press resume again, it starts spinning. Then it starts filling up for the rinse cycle. Once the machine is full of water, it beats a bit, and starts draining. Then it pauses again.

We press resume and it finishes draining the water. Then it pauses again.

Then we press resume again, and it starts spinning. This spin cycle pauses about halfway through.

Then we press resume again, and it completes the spin cycle.
