OkHad a technician come out told me electric control and console needs replaced . sometimes lights flash alternating lights wash and heavy wash. Ive replaced control and touch pads still does the same thing.
Replaced interconnect. still not working. Any suggestions besides throwing it out the window?

Hi. Ive been looking through all the posts on this site and cant quite find the answer Im looking for. My dishwasher cycle cuts out midway. It still drains and when it stops all the lights go off. I know similar problems are the thermal fuse or circuit board. Any help in how to diagnose this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have ice build up occurring behind the water dispenser. This is causing the water & ice not to dispense because the dispensing switch cannot be fully pressed.

There is a heater kit to resolve this item, but it is made for a different GE refrigerator model.

The wiring on my unit is similar. There is J4 with 6 lines. J4-2 is red consistent with the instructions. But J4-6 is white.

Has anyone tried retrofitting this heater unit to work with other GE refrigerators? I think the heating unit runs on 12 volts. So I am wondering if I could check for 12 volts AC on my multi-meter between J4-2 and J4-6 to see if I get voltage. But I am afraid of messing things up.

Any opinions on this based on your experience?

Hello,
I am having issues with my LG oven not heating up. The burners on top work fine. The oven I can set anywhere over 400 and it only heats up to 355ish. It is a convection and has just the one heating element on top. But I tried the broil option and it seemed to work fine. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum and I am grateful for any support.

My Kenmore Ultra Wash is not draining. I was able to remove the sprayer arm and wash pump cover but can't seem to remove the next section to clean filters, remove debris, check for blockages, etc. Initially, I thought the entire system had failed, but once I manually removed the water, the regular cycle engaged again.

In addition, I noticed before the system stopped draining, that the pots & pans cycle was noisy and I couldn't hear any water running so I stopped using it.

Any suggestions on how to dismantle parts below the wash pump cover, other suggestions for making the drain work, and/or what might be happening with the pots & pans cycle would be appreciated.

Icemaker on my Kenmore Elite model 795.71053.012 stopped working. I turned off power to the refrigerator, removed the icemaker and unplugged all of the electrical connectors in the icemaker and then reconnected everything and turned power back on the refrigerator. The icemaker worked for a few days and then stopped working again. I've done this a couple of times and it works for a few days and then stops working. Any ideas on what the problem is or do I need to replace the icemaker?

Our Sears Kenmore Elite will go through all of the cycles normally with no error codes, but it does not heat the water, when it gets to the dry cycle the element heats up and dries the dishes fine. We changed the High Limit Thermostat and it did not solve the problem. Is it correct to assume that the heating element is OK even though it does not heat the water but does get hot when it reaches the dry cycle? The control board looks fine in appearance but we realize it could still have a component out. Is their something else we should check before ordering a control board? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

My dishwasher started flashing the "Heavy" light, which means that a leak was detected. I took the bottom pan off, and there was a little bit of water being picked up by the sensor. Through my investigation I found that the "drain-in" house had a crack in it.

All of the parts manuals I have found for this model are saying that DD81-01502A is the correct part.

I bought this part, but it doesn't appear to be correct. It has an angled end on both sides, and the installed cable has a straight connector. The new hose does fit, so I went with it...but then the dishwasher wouldnt drain and gave an overflow error.

When I investigated the original hose again the straight end has a one-way valve built into it, and the replacement does not. I put the original hose back on, and taped up the crack...and it is working again, but i dont expect the patch to hold forever.

I've looked around and this hose looks more like the original, but it says it isn't compatible with my model: DD67-00115A

Can anyone help me with this? What is the actual part I should purchase? Why is there so much discrepancy between the manual and what I am seeing??

So I have a problem with my oven functions not always wanting to light. Broiler seems to work more than the bake. It's almost like you have to have broil on for awhile then switch it to bake and then sometimes it will light, and sometimes it won't work either way. The direct spark ignitor will spark several times but seems that the gas isn't always coming on. I replaced the ignitor board and swapped ignitors. Still the same outcome. Is there a way to troubleshoot if it's the main oven control board or the gas valve? I'm leaning towards oven control board since it has to be the only other thing to send a signal for lighting. But would like to hear from someone one it. I have no codes on the unit and no stored codes. Thanks.

Our Samsung dishwasher shows no error code. I can pour water in the tub, and starting the DW, it will drain the water then run for about one-minute (the power remaining on, but doing nothing--then it gives the message, "End").
I have a service manual that is too convoluted to easily follow. (It's for 16 different models, and the pictures apparently apply to one of the older models--and a major drawback: whoever created the pdf file did not give permissions for searching the manual.)
I have checked the water supply (good flow/pressure) and the water valve (operates and has 120v going to it), and the service manual does not indicate where the float valve is (I'm guessing it is in the sump area), which is what I think I need to check next.
Anyone familiar with this Samsung model?

Ice Maker on my Kenmore Elite model 795.71053012 stopped working. ge stainless steel side by side.

just replaced main board after it shorting out due to ice freeze. Can I run the fridge with the water turned off without causing any damage? I don't need the ice or water.

Our Maytag Bravos washer began making a loud noise when spinning a few months ago. I did a little research online and figured it was the bearings that had gone bad. Well, it turns out that this washing machine is not built like anything else out their, so the videos I've found are of no help whatsoever. I also suspect that the part I purchased is the wrong part.

Can someone please tell me:

1) What exactly is wrong with my washer?
2) Where can I get the right part?
3) Where can I find a repair manual?

I'm totally capable and willing to do the repairs myself, especially since paying someone to fix it will cost as much as a new washer.

Hi,

I have a Kenmore refrigerator with freezer at top; which about 2 weeks ago began freezing the food in the lower refrigerator area.

Prior to that, my wife had stacked the freezer jam-full of food, which caused the defrosting mechanism to stop so everything frosted over, and the ice-maker stopped working. We've seen this before, and I thinned out the freezer, and in a couple of days the defrosting began working again and after a week, the ice-maker returned.

But down in the fridge... it started with some food in some regions freezing, other things didn't - especially things in the door. I've also started discovering a lot of frozen water in the fridge - bottles at the back have chunks of ice under them and stick them to the glass shelves. Then I noticed ice under the veggie drawers at the bottom, removed them, and found two giant 1/4" thick ice panels in the slots under the veggie drawers.

I've got a temp readout device in there now, its oscillating between 25 and 30 deg F over the last few hours, despite having turned the freezer setting up to 5 and the fridge up to 45F.

I could only find one previous thread on the fridge being too cold in these models....

The temp switch has WW, HW, AUTO, HC and CC settings. If I use WW or WC setting during wash fill, it fills with warm water (both valves on) for about a minute, and then the cold valve turns off, with only the hot valve staying on. I thought it should only switch like that while using the "auto" setting. After it switches, I measure no voltage on the brown-white or yellow-red connections on the temp switch.

Or maybe the circuit is "confused" by the fact that I have both inlet hoses connected to a cold water source.

Another issue: If I open the lid while it is spinning, it sometimes starts "neutral-draining" when I close it again. I have seen several older washers with this symptom. Swapping out the transmission usually fixes this.

Hello all!
This is my first post. Please help with this water leaking issue.
I have a GE regrigerator, model PTS25LHRARCC. Recently, water started leaking on the back where water going into the ice maker, as shown in the first photo (circled). It turned out that water was frozen at that area. I broke the ice.
Now, I turn the ice maker and the water line on. The water is supposed to run up to the ice maker; it does not. What is the next step I should do? I am thinking of the water inlet valve (shown in the second photo); however, I am not sure.
Please help. Thank you very much.

Does anyone have service manual for this model?

I'm trying to get into service mode.
I tried un-plugging for 30 seconds, plug in, press temp, ewash,temp,ewash. Nothing happens.

Is there a different key combo for this washer?
