Hi. First thanks for all the help so far. Ive been reading alot of good info here. Ok I got this refrigerator free ( PTS25SHPARBS). Its like new except the temp goes up and down. So I ordered a motherboard and thermistor from repairclinic. I got them today and got to work. I checked the fans are running.
The thermistor in the freezer check out at 14.8 in a cup of water with ice cubes. I checked them at the harness J1. When I went to check the one in the refrigerator there wasnt a wire in #2 but there is in #1. Is this normal for this model? So then I pull the motherboard to inspect and I find a black spot were it fried. The spot was behind what looks like a relay. I dont want to replace the motherboard until I figure out what fried it or if it fried its self. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
